I have always had a fascination with the way things work, what they are made of and how they are manufactured.
As a product designer I like to concentrate on extracting the essential needs and functions of a product, and then creating a distinct design.
Starting in my early years by disassembling the family phonograph, I continued my education at the University of Vermont with a degree in Art and Business. In 2002 I earned a Master of Industrial Design degree at Pratt Institute. I have since focused on designing products for the outdoor industry - including backpacks, gloves, and footwear - as well as furniture and housewares, from my studio in Vermont and Massachusetts. I was the 3rd place winner of the 2006 Bombay Sapphire Designer Glass competition, participant in the 2006 Industreal DREAM exhibition, and my work has been featured in publications worldwide.
I am always interested in new projects and helping others grow their product business dreams. Get in touch and tell me what you're working on!
